Arun Singh (UK) is a law graduate with postgraduate legal training, educated in France and Britain and currently based in London, England. He studies and researches Indian religions at postgraduate level at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and has a command over Sanskrit, Arabic, Pali, French, German and Persian. His areas of academic research are: ancient Indo-Iranian religion, the major philosophical systems of medieval India, particularly Samkhya-Yoga, and the post-Islamic philosophies and religions of Iran, particularly Ismailism and the Oriental Peripatetic school. He has been working and co-authoring a number of print articles with Dr. Khorasani in the field of the floral designs on Persian weapons, the definition and meaning of Quaranic inscriptions on Persian arms and armor, and the battles, techniques and tactics of Persian warriors in the Shahname (Book of Kings) for different print journals.  These articles will be published soon. Arun worked as an editor for the book "Lexicon of Arms and Armor from Iran: A Study of Symbols and Terminology" written by Dr. Khorasani.  Arun has trained in various martial arts including karate, fencing, the Sikh martial arts, southern kalaripayat, pekiti-tirsia kali and krabi krabong at various times over the last two decades.  - Team
